In the Zen-Dojo Berlin-Mehringdamm zazen is practised every day except Mondays. The dojo was founded in 1990 and is open to everybody interested in the practice of Zen.
The dojo is incorporated in the Association Zen Internationale (AZI), which was founded by Master Deshimaru in 1970 and to which around 300 dojos belong worldwide.
The Dojo moved in October 2003 to new, bright rooms at the same address.

How to get there
Take the Underground to U-Bahn Mehringdamm (Line 7 or Line 6). Walk up Mehringdamm in the direction of Tempelhof, cross the Gneisenaustrasse, after about 200m on the left hand side turn into the yard of No.57, then into the second yard, go straight ahead to the next archway and at the staircase on the left ring at the door buzzer if the door happens to be locked. The dojo is located on the fourth floor.
Introduction
There is an introduction for beginners every Saturday at 5 p.m., followed by zazen at 6 p.m. It is not necessary to register for the introduction. Please come in comfortable, unobtrusive clothes.
Price List
Each Zazen costs € 3.50
The monthly fee for an unlimited number of zazens is € 30
The introduction and subsequent first zazen cost € 3.50
A reduction is negotiable with the person leading zazen.
Kesa Sewing
Christina is responsible for kesa-sewing in the dojo and will give help and advice in the sewing of a kesa or rakusu.

Public Holidays
The dojo is closed on public holidays when they fall on a work day and on Easter Sunday and Christmas Eve.
